An illustration of our holidays last September.
Hello Agia Galini
We arrive at our destination. A warm balmy night, a great atmosphere. We are all looking forward to exploring our little fishing village in Southern Crete

Yes, all looks good at breakfast time
Breakfast was good and the sun was hot.
* * * * * * * *
A spot of sun bathing
We decided we would do a little sunbathing. Yes that's me in the bikini at my ripe old age!
* * * * * * * *
Retsina most likely
And it's "cheers" from us all to you!
* * * * * * * *
Glorious sun drenched terrace
A boat trip to a neighbouring beach proved a bit of a hairy adventure, but it was glorious when we finally got there.
* * * * * * * *
This was real scary stuff
Of course we had to get back on the boat. Woop woop! P.S. One lady had nightmares over this. Yes seriously!
* * * * * * * *
We dine at a roof top restaurant
A night on the town. One of many to be precise.
* * * * * * * *
Posing for the "paparazzi"
And so we all got "dressed up".
* * * * * * * *
A real feel of Crete
A drive through the mountains and en route we stop and chat with a man and his donkey.
* * * * * * * *
Heavenly
Another glorious sunset to accompany our fine dining.
* * * * * * * *
Making merry
All this great food and really good cheap wine. I can get used to this lifestyle with no problem at all!
* * * * * * * *
Here we are again
Guess you can tell we did a lot of that!
* * * * * * * *
The only way to drink Raki. Oh yeah...so I'm told
Ah Raki. "Death by Raki" as I called it. You have to drink it straight off and hope for the best. if you sip it it's protracted torture!
* * * * * * *
Oh la la!
Now, that's what Raki does for you.
* * * * * * *
Having a good time
Don't know what's going on here! But it looks good!
* * * * * * *
Almost a family portrait
All good friends together.
* * * * * * * *
A quiet drink before we get ready to leave
Down amongst the sheltering palms and vines.
* * * * * * * *
But it's "Goodbye"
Our last night. Boo Hoo. Always sad to say "goodbye".......
